These brackets are optional for spaces where there is limited space for installation and the blind is to be positioned inside the open brackets as illustrated below.

After positioning the head rail of blind inside the open brackets, close each clip to securely fit the blind. Note that in the case of larger blinds, you may need another person to help you position the blind.
