- How to measure
-
Step 1.
Make sure that there are no heating pipes, window latches, door handles or other obtruding items in the way of the blind.
Step2
Choose whether you need to place the blind inside or outside the recess.
When the blind is placed inside the recess:
Measure the frame in width and height in various points and provide the smallest measurements both in width and in height expressed in millimetres when ordering.
When the blind is placed outside the recess:
After measuring the window in width both at the top and at the bottom and in height both on the left and on the right, decide how much the blind should overlap the frame and place an order for the smallest resulted size, adding the overlap and expressing the size in millimetres.
Step3
Note that when the roman shade is closed, the bundle measures approximately 25 cm in height and you should take this into account when fitting it for an easy opening/ closing of the covered window or door.
In the case where several blinds are to be hanged side by side, you will need to specify this to ensure that the patterns and segments match. If the ordered blinds have different drops, specify whether the segments are to be matched on the top or on the bottom side.
These blinds are not compatible with areas with high humidity levels.
In the case where the inside or outside the recess options are not selected, the blinds will be manufactured according to the standard recess sizes.
Recess size:
When the inside recess is selected, the manufacturers calculate an allowance for clearance both on the height and width of the blind so that it freely hangs inside the recess.
Blind size:
If you select outside the recess, the ordered size will be supplied so you will need to calculate any necessary allowance.
